My fridge is full and I'm exhausted but tomorrow is CHRISTMAS!
I'm so thankful for all the wonderful people I have in my life, and I hope you all are too! I have been truly blessed with such supportive family and friends. Thank YOU for visiting my blog and helping me become the baker I am today. This blog is my home away from home and I'm so happy I'm able to share my joy of baking with others.
I hope you all have a great Christmas and enjoy your time with your friends and family!
I wanted to take this time to thank everyone that's taken the time to check out my blog. I've put a lot of time into putting this together and making these cakes for my friends and family.
I also wanted to apologize for the lack of updating late. It's been a busy fall and I haven't been baking! It's been awful!
I've got something great in the works and it will be posted here as soon as possible. So please keep checking back and take a few minutes to comment on your favorite cake! I look forward to seeing what the crowd favorite is :)
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and have an even better holiday season!
This summer I worked at the local YMCA Summer Camp as the director of their Dino-mytes camp. My campers were between 5 and 8 years old. At the end of each summer, we have a talent show and bake sale. I decided to donate a cake because I haven't baked in two months and I was going a bit nutty. So here's my creation...
Our camp includes about 200+ kids so I wanted to make enough
cake to feed everyone and their parents.
I decided to do something simple because I was expecting it
to be cut up before anyone saw what it looked like.
I did squares, triangles, diamonds and circles on the sides,
along with polka dots all over.
I'm pretty happy with how it came out. With how it started, I didn't think I'd like it.
It was a huge hit with all my kids and co-workers. It ended up going up for auction, instead of cut up in the bake sale. The bidding ended at $65! Maybe I should start charging more.... NAH!
I've changed my blog set up and it may be a little confusing so for those of you that are new, click on each post to see all pictures and descriptions.
I know my family and friends have been passing on the link to my blog to their friends. I wanted to thank you for stopping by and tell you a little about what I do. I am almost 23 years old, and a beginner baker and cake decorator. Everything I do is done from my home! It's become a big hobby for me. I've been doing this about a year now, and everything is self taught. Please comment on my posts and let me know what you think! There's no better way to learn! If you're interested in a cake or cupcakes, please feel free to email me at email@example.com
My prices are reasonable and I deliver anywhere in Rhode Island.
